Next Stop: Cosmos is a self-help acoustic band based out of Olympia, Washington. It includes at least a few former members of the Olympia Free Choir, who would like to think their approach carries on the legacy of that group in many ways. Indeed, you would be unlikely to catch the same configuration of performers at two different Next Stop: Cosmos shows.

Next Stop: Cosmos aims to blur the divisions between audience and performer, as well as commemorate the fleeting nature of existence in what will hopefully be a unique and memorable experience. Their sound often consists of a blend of stream-of-consciousness lyrics combined with an eclectic assortment of instruments, up to and including: ukulele, accordion, viola, flute, harmonica, and cowbell. This results in an ambience which is sure to invoke simultaneous feelings of melancholia and joy.
