The Harvest Hootenanny 2023
After a successful 2 shows in 2022, and with gracious backing from our new corporate sponsor, Nonsanto, we decided to bring our bountiful harvest on the road! Joining returning hosts Bowler and Spoons and this year’s house band, Hot Damn Scandal in Tacoma, Yakima, Bellingham, Seattle, and Portland were Salty Sibling alumni and newcomers alike including drag from Nyxia Twilight, music from Birdie Fenn Cent, Trascan Joe, Brassless Chaps, Aaron J Shay, Cockaphonix, Shpilkis, Clam Slam Jammers, Next Stop Cosmos, and Tacomarama, burlesque from Hexy Lexi, Vida Catastrophe, and Yoni Flower Bomb, magic from D.R. Schreiber and G Sparks, Contortion from Jordyn Shay, Dance from Undre Reed and Grace Drysdale, and Juggling from Art De La Rue (that’s 20 acts over 5 cities!!!).
By the time the show came to an end, a scarecrow came to life and ran off to the big city, our crops failed, and lets just say the best sown plans sometimes don’t come to fruit. That said, with so much chaos on and off of stage, maybe it was a good thing after all
